I am entering this contest on my mom’s behalf. Just recently, she bought me a new phone as a birthday present. She has chosen to give me a new phone instead of buying herself a new one. My mom is using her 3-year old Sony Ericsson K800i. The phone is not that “ancient” since the specs is not very far from the newly released cellphones, but her phone is already malfunctioning. There are buttons that are very hard press and there’s already a problem on the display. One time, I saw her starring on a touchscreen phone in the mall. I told her that why not buy a new phone. She told me that instead of buying a new phone, she’d rather spend her money for our (me and my brother’s) tuition fee. Also, she told me that the phone is still OK (meaning it is still functional in texting and calling).

I deserve to win the Android Phone because my mom deserves an upgrade. Also, by winning this phone I can somehow show my gratitude to my mom who has sacrificed her luxuries for the benefit of us, her children.
